Description

Introduction to Felting Workshop.

You will be amazed at the feltmaking process, and the potential it holds for creative adventures.

During this one-day introductory course you will learn how to lay out fleece, the felting process, how to recognise when your felt is fully felted and how to incorporate textural materials such as fabric and threads.

We will also touch on the use of resists to create a seamless hollow to make an item such as a bag, vessel or bowl.

Felt is a versatile textile and is not confined to clothing, accessories or industrial purposes. It has sculptural qualities.

Together with your imagination and this introductory course, a new and exciting world awaits.
