Agritourism Plans
Bringing agriculture to life, and agritourism to the community.
Agritourism
Sustainable Agriculture Industry
It’s now been conclusively shown, that when people are more aware of sustainable practices, they’re more careful about their choices, and how they spend their money.
So in our pursuit of a sustainable agriculture industry, and with agritourism on the rise, making the general public aware of the benefits of sustainable food and fibre production, is the final piece of the puzzle.
Learn
Welcome to Dalman Yalbalinya Gudarra.
Our goal is to build a stunning, welcoming space where anyone can stop by to learn about the land, and take in the view. An interface between agricultural and consumers, bringing the industry to life and agritourism to the community, for the lasting benefit of all.”
The future beckons
What are we planning to do?
Plans have been drawn, submitted and approved to build the Dalman Yalbalinya Gudarra, affectionately known as the DYG, where the turbine viewing platform is now, on the way into Crookwell from Goulburn.
We’re close enough to Canberra, two hours from Sydney, and right on the main artery connecting the Southern Tablelands to the Central West, to receive plenty of passing tourism traffic. All we need to do is finalise the funding, and get on with it.

Give people a taste of sustainable agriculture
There will be tours, and education for those who stop by, and in addition to seeing sustainable agriculture in action, they’ll be able to actually taste the results in our café and taphouse.
Grow native plants and food for local restaurants
We’ll also grow fresh, healthy food for our cafe, and the local community too.
Treated water from speed vertical growing facility will be fed back to the brewery, with excess water distributed onto broadacre farming.
Tap into the popularity of craft beer
There will be a microbrewery on site, with hops for the beer grown on the farm. Waste from the brewery process will be fed back into a controlled growing environment, created by two futuristic geodesic domes.
Create an inspiring training space
Embedded in a building that’s in sync with the land, and surrounded by renewable energy, our training environment will be available for anyone in need of a space to inspire ideas, and take action.
Help people climb a wind turbine
Well, not quite, but it will certainly feel like that as you engage with the immersive floor to ceiling screen, revealing the inner workings of renewable energy at the first wind farm in Eastern Australia.
We’re building an atrium of agriculture, a temple of turbines, a place of great wind and education. A centre of sustainability, and the circular economy, and a great place to grab a coffee too.”
